Aliyev Arrives in Sochi at Putin's Invitation
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Sochi today for a working visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Upon arrival at Sochi International Airport, Aliyev was greeted by Krasnodar Krai Deputy Governor Anatoly Voronovsky and Sochi Mayor Alexey Kopaygorodsky.
Earlier, Russian Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov had announced that the President of Azerbaijan would participate in the Valdai Club meeting in Sochi, alongside other world leaders.
The summit will also see participation from Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Jordan's King Abdullah II, and the Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte.
