‘Fact’ Reports Enthusiastic Reception of Arman Sargsyan’s Appointment
‘Fact’ newspaper reports that after the dismissal of Valeri Osipyan from the position of Chief of Police, on September 19, Arman Sargsyan, the Deputy Chief of Police, was appointed as the Acting Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia by a decree of President Armen Sargsyan.
During that period, many were drawn to the fact that both the Chief of Police and the Director of the NSS were appointed as acting officials. Consequently, there were discussions suggesting that their appointments were, in fact, temporary.
However, regarding the Chief of Police, ‘Fact’ has received noteworthy information: the appointment of Arman Sargsyan has been met with enthusiasm within the system.
