Dispute Ends in Stabbing

On September 30, just past midnight, the Shengavit police received a report from a medical center that a 24-year-old young man had been admitted with a stab wound to the chest.

The operational group arrived at the hospital. The victim was unable to provide an explanation as he had been stabbed.

During the investigation, various measures were taken, which not only clarified several significant circumstances but also revealed the identity of the person suspected of committing the crime. The criminal investigators of the Shengavit police department, in collaboration with officers from other police units, found that during a dispute over financial matters in a park near Melik Adamyan Street, the victim was stabbed by a 22-year-old resident of 9th Aigehtsani Street.

On the same day, at 1:50 PM, utilizing operational data, law enforcement officials located the suspect on Khorenatsi Street and took him into custody at the Shengavit police department.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. A forensic examination has been scheduled, and measures are being taken to locate the knife. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
