The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has sent a condolence message to the family of former French President Jacques Chirac.

“With great sorrow and grief, I learned of your family’s loss—the death of Jacques Chirac. As a prominent political figure and individual, Jacques Chirac was an example of patriotism, dedication, indomitable spirit, tenacity, and immense responsibility. His death is a significant loss for France, to which he devoted his life.
