Key Issue in Pashinyan-Putin Discussion Will Be Gas Price
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the President of Russia will arrive in Yerevan. Vladimir Putin is expected to come to Yerevan on October 1 and, according to the newspaper's sources, he will stay in the capital of Armenia for a few hours. At least, this is the current sentiment from the Russian side.
In preparation for the EAEU summit, the ruling team in Armenia is reportedly busy with organizational work. The key issue on the agenda of the Pashinyan-Putin discussion will be the gas price.
Previously, on September 17, "Zhoghovurd" had reported that Russian authorities might present unpleasant surprises to the Armenian side soon, as they plan to increase the gas price, this time for the residents of Armenia as well. The price is expected to rise by 30 percent, and it is possible that the figure could increase further.
