False Reporting of a Crime by Media is Also a Crime: D. Ioannisyan
The founder and program coordinator of the 'Initiative for Informed Citizens' NGO, Daniel Ioannisyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'The publication of Hayeli.am about the pressure applied to obtain testimony from Haik Harutyunyan is essentially a report of a crime. Therefore, it should be subject to separate investigation. If the publication is true, then a case should be initiated under Article 341 of the Criminal Code (coercion to testify by a prosecutor or investigator), while if it is false, under Article 333 (false reporting of a crime). Ultimately, the apparent false reporting of a crime by the media is also a crime.'
