How Much Money Was Spent Organizing Nikol Pashinyan's Visit to the USA
The working visit of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the United States was conducted via a charter flight through a private company. This was reported by the spokesman for the Prime Minister, Vladimir Karapetyan, on his Facebook page.
“In response to numerous media inquiries, I inform you that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's working visit to the United States was conducted via a charter flight through a private company. The total amount allocated for the organization of the visit may reach a maximum of 165 million drams, and the purpose of organizing the charter flight is due to several circumstances,” stated Karapetyan.
The Prime Minister's agenda in the United States is extremely busy. Pashinyan's visit to Los Angeles has been prepared for a long time, where the head of government held more than ten meetings and events in one day, about which the public was properly informed.
From there, the Prime Minister is set to travel to San Jose in Silicon Valley, where he will again hold a series of meetings and negotiations with leading companies in the high technology sector within just a few hours.
Following this, the Prime Minister will head to New York to participate in the sessions of the UN General Assembly. In the UN headquarters, Nikol Pashinyan will have more than ten meetings and events.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that on September 28, an official visit by the Prime Minister of Singapore to Armenia is scheduled, and the head of government is tasked with arriving in Yerevan before then. Organizing such a significant working visit to the United States with such a busy schedule and tight deadlines would not have been feasible without a special flight arrangement, especially since the Prime Minister could not miss the events planned in Armenia on September 21, including the “Hero of Our Time” award ceremony.
Moving forward, similar arrangements will be made in a way that facilitates the most efficient organization of the leader's visits,” the spokesman wrote.
