Fire Breaks Out Near Proshyan Village
On September 21, at 15:03, the emergency service received information about a fire that broke out in a field near the railway close to the area leading from the Silikyan neighborhood of Yerevan to Proshyan village in the Kotayk region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two firefighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene, along with one combat unit from a special firefighting squad (one unit returned due to the lack of necessity).
The fire was contained by 17:14 and extinguished by 17:20. Fruit trees, vineyards, and grassland (about 30 hectares) were damaged in the incident.
