«Zhamanak». Charged Individual Avoids Accusations and is Appointed as Armenia's Police Representative in Russia
«Zhamanak» newspaper reports: The head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Main Directorate for the Fight Against Organized Crime of the Police, Mihran Davtyan, has been appointed as the representative of the Armenian Police in the Russian Federation.
Interestingly, prior to this appointment, Mihran Davtyan was accused of abuse of power. He was alleged to have failed to disclose violations discovered during inspections of economic operators in exchange for a certain sum of money, thus failing to take proper action against those violations.
It remains unclear how or through whom Davtyan managed to evade these accusations and find himself in Russia.
