Young Man Injured by Gunfire in Vanadzor to be Airlifted to Yerevan

As previously reported, gunfire was heard in Vanadzor a short while ago, resulting in one individual being rushed to the Vanadzor Medical Center.

In a conversation with ArmDaily.am, the director of the Vanadzor Medical Center, Vahagn Mkrtchyan, stated that at approximately 12:20 today, a 27-year-old man was admitted to their facility. “He sustained injuries to various parts of his body. The soft tissues, left eye, liver, spleen, and kidneys were affected,” he said.

When asked if the eye had been removed, Mkrtchyan answered, “No, it is simply damaged. He needs to be airlifted to Yerevan for further treatment at Erebuni Medical Center. Our doctors have conducted all necessary examinations and have stabilized his condition. The young man has sustained serious gunshot wounds, and his life is in danger.”
