UAZ-469 Overturned in Syunik Province: One Injured

On September 19, at 11:55 AM, information was received by the '911' service reporting that an accident had occurred near the village of Ashotavan in Syunik Province. A vehicle had overturned, and rescue assistance was required to set it upright.

A combat unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations proceeded to the scene. It was revealed that a UAZ-469 vehicle, driven by Artak M., had veered off the road and overturned.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the driver was hospitalized at Sisian Medical Center, where doctors assessed the driver's condition as moderate severity. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's electrical system and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
