Tensions Rise Between Moscow and Israel

The Russian Federation has permitted the Syrian army to use anti-aircraft missile systems against Israeli aviation. This is reported by lenta.ru, citing the Avia.pro portal.

“Russia has allowed Syrian armed forces to put the C-300 systems on combat readiness and even to strike in case of minimal threat,” the publication quotes the source.

An Avia.pro interlocutor clarified that the full responsibility for the use of anti-aircraft missile systems will rest with the Syrian side. This decision was made by the Russian side following another strike by Israel on Syrian territory using Israeli F-35 systems. According to the agreements with Moscow, the Israeli side was not supposed to take such steps, although the Israeli government has repeatedly violated this agreement in recent times.
