Gyumri Customs Terminal Construction Workers May Switch to 24-Hour Regime
The construction of the Gyumri customs terminal has entered a new phase. A working group from the State Revenue Committee has made another visit to the area designated for the external economic activity service center to monitor the ongoing work.
The vertical layout work has been fully completed, and the installation of intra-territorial communications has also been finished. For the implementation of the project, the government has allocated 181 million drams to the State Revenue Committee in the first phase and 966 million drams in the second phase.
Construction work is progressing rapidly at the site. The area is equipped with external lighting during the evening hours, allowing workers to work until late at night. If necessary, construction will be carried out in a 24-hour working regime.
The opening of the Gyumri customs terminal is scheduled for October 11.
