Trilateral Meeting of Presidents of Turkey, Iran, and Russia Expected

The presidents of Russia, Vladimir Putin, Iran, Hassan Rouhani, and Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, have gathered today in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

As reported by the Anadolu news agency, regarding the agenda of the meeting, the Turkish presidential press center stated that the aim is to assess the developments occurring in Syria, particularly concerning Idlib, to establish conditions to end the conflicts, and to create possibilities for the voluntary return of refugees.

In addition to the trilateral summit, bilateral meetings are also planned to discuss issues related to bilateral relations and the international agenda.

According to information published on the Turkish president's website, Erdoğan will first meet with the Iranian president and then with the Russian president, with the trilateral meeting scheduled to take place at 15:30 local time.
