Arthur Manukyan Sworn in as Member of Parliament
The candidate from the "My Step" alliance, Arthur Manukyan, took the oath of office and assumed the responsibilities of a Member of Parliament. Manukyan took on these duties during the National Assembly session on September 16.
“The CEC has submitted a report regarding the assignment of the mandate from the elected MP who terminated his authorities prematurely to the next candidate, according to which the mandate is granted to Arthur Manukyan, the next candidate from the national electoral list of the "My Step" alliance,” stated the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan.
Arthur Manukyan officially assumed his parliamentary responsibilities through the oath-taking ceremony, in accordance with the constitutional law of the National Assembly. The previous parliamentary mandate was left vacant by Edgar Arakelyan, a member of the "My Step" faction.
