Who is Behind the Exploitation of the Amulsar Mine
According to the newspaper "Zhamanak", there are personal interests in the Amulsar mine from certain representatives of the former government who, at one time, purchased shares of "Lydian Armenia" company, thereby becoming beneficiaries of the mine's exploitation.
Our sources indicate that an offer to buy shares of "Lydian" was also made to Swiss-Armenian businessman Vardan Surmakesh, but he declined to participate in this dubious project. Therefore, "Lydian" is not only foreign capital, but also includes capital from the former government, with several prominent representatives of the previous administration standing behind the exploitation of the mine.
