Pashinyan's Position on the Amulsar Issue
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that the position on the Amulsar issue should be legal. This was stated by Pashinyan during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly, in response to a question from MP Arman Babajanyan.
"My position is that the stance should be legal because we are talking about a legal state. There are different approaches to the issue, but all of them must be resolved legally. We must pursue the truth and be guided by it, without any presumption about what the truth should be. The only position that can be justified and legitimate, stemming from the status of the Prime Minister of Armenia, is this," Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister noted that if they illegally shut down the mine today, they would illegally shut down the media the next day, and this would continue.
