‘Jamanak’. Will Kocharyan Be Released? Nikol Pashinyan Held Closed Meeting
‘Jamanak’ newspaper reports: According to information from the ‘Jamanak’ daily, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been holding meetings and discussions with representatives of his team until late in the evening these days. Recently, he held a closed-format meeting with representatives of the government, which also included representatives from security agencies.
It was reported that a lengthy discussion took place the day before with representatives of the law enforcement system regarding the decision of the Constitutional Court. Armenian Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan reassured the authorities by confirming that the Constitutional Court's decision does not imply the release of Robert Kocharyan from detention.
According to ‘Jamanak’ newspaper’s information, a meeting is also expected today at the Civil Contract party office with members of the ‘My Step’ faction.
