«Irates». Attempts to Overthrow Pashinyan through Marukyan: Who is Behind This?
«Irates» newspaper writes: "Months ago, the media reported on the political club established by Vazgen Manukyan, the chairman of the Public Council, and who gathers there (Aghvan Vardanyan, Ruben Hakobyan, David Shahbazyan, Andranik Tevanyan, Yervand Bozyan, Arpine Hovhannisyan). Our information indicates that their ranks have been supplemented by new political and social figures (Spartak Seyranian, Vahe Hovhannisyan, Hrant Bagratyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan). This political team has been given a noteworthy assignment. We were able to ascertain that each member of the club has a specific task to conduct ongoing negotiations with the leadership and members of one political party. So to speak, the negotiator-assignee is to unite them around a single idea.
Our source informed us that Ruben Hakobyan is working with the parliamentary opposition, particularly the ‘Bright Armenia’ party, meaning they are trying to overthrow Pashinyan through Edmon Marukyan, Pashinyan's former ally. Since this political force is represented in both the parliament and Yerevan city council, there is a goal to activate both directions. Hakobyan regularly meets with the LHK. Incidentally, one member of this party has boasted in a narrow circle that LHK had no issues during the previous administration and that if they return, they would have no issues again."
