Minister of Justice on Disobedience in Prisons

Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan announced on his Facebook page that on the evening of September 5, instances of disobedience were recorded in certain penitentiaries, which were halted as a result of operational measures taken by the Ministry's Penitentiary Service.

According to him, the situation is currently under the control of the Ministry, and there are no disobediences at this time. “In the event of possible developments, actions will be taken within the scope of my authority based on the situation,” he stated.
