Live: Constitutional Court Partially Accepts Robert Kocharyan's Applications
The Constitutional Court has issued a ruling on the constitutionality of the grounds for the detention of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan. The President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, announced that the Court has decided that certain provisions of Article 35 are inconsistent with the Constitution and invalid.
Regarding the question of compliance of Article 35 with the Constitution, the Court ruled that it is in accordance with the Constitution. Robert Kocharyan's defense has submitted applications concerning Article 35 and its compliance with the Constitution.
