14-Year-Old Boy and His 17-Year-Old Sister Discharged from Hospital After Accident in Georgia
On July 7, a 14-year-old boy and his 17-year-old sister, who sustained serious injuries in an accident near the city of Gori in Georgia, have been discharged from the 'Holy Mother of God' Hospital, according to spokesperson Gevorg Derjanyan.
It is recalled that on July 7, while on their way for vacation, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a barrier near Gori. The girl was diagnosed with a linear skull fracture, a pelvic fracture, rib fractures, and lung contusions. She underwent successful surgery.
The boy was admitted to the 'Holy Mother of God' Hospital in extremely critical condition, connected to a ventilator after being transferred from the Iashvili Clinic in Tbilisi. He also underwent surgery.
Another victim from the same accident, a 12-year-old boy, was discharged from the 'Holy Mother of God' Hospital on July 12 after recovering.
