Soldier Yuri Broyan Transferred to Hospital: Final Decision in Two Weeks

Soldier Yuri Broyan has been transferred from the Ministry of Defense military police to the Kanaz hospital, his lawyer Hayarpi Sargsyan informed Aysor.am.

"He will need to undergo examinations for about two weeks, after which a final decision will be made," she said.

It is noteworthy that Yuri Broyan was presented to the Military Medical Commission yesterday, after which he was transferred to the hospital. The lawyer stated that the final decision of the commission will be made in two weeks.

"But it is evident, and I personally expect, considering the opinions of the civilian hospital doctors, that he should not continue his service," she added.

Hayarpi Sargsyan noted that there have been no improvements in his health condition. "The seizures continue, only his mood has slightly improved," she said.

It is remembered that Yuri Broyan was drafted into the army in August of last year with a diagnosis of mild intellectual disability.
