Murderers Behind 'Thief in Law' Andik of Masis Remain Unknown, No Arrests Made
No individual has been arrested in connection with the murder of Andranik Harutyunyan, known as Andik, a notorious figure referred to as a 'Thief in Law' from Masis. This was stated by the head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Naira Harutyunyan, in response to our inquiry, as reported by Armtimes.com.
Earlier, Shantnews had reported, citing its sources, that the persons who ordered the murder were already known and had been arrested. However, Naira Harutyunyan clarified during our conversation that there are no suspects implicated in the criminal case initiated regarding the murder incident.
When asked whether the identity of the perpetrator has been established, Naira Harutyunyan responded, 'The Investigative Committee of Armenia continues to undertake necessary investigative, judicial, and operational intelligence measures to solve the case of the murder of the 46-year-old man. The pre-investigation body is undertaking all necessary actions to clarify the identity of the individual who committed the murder.'
