The True Organizers of Yesterday's Protest Must Be Revealed: MP

Gevorg Papoyan, an MP from the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page: 'Violence in Armenia has been, is, and will be unacceptable to the overwhelming majority of society and our political force. Similarly, the looting of public goods under the guise of 'keeping a house' is equally unacceptable.'

'The true organizers of yesterday's protest must be revealed and punished to the fullest extent of the law for illegal logging, conducting illegal economic activities, and the violence against police officers.'

'P.S. I am pleased to note that, in my impression, the violence against police officers and the illogical demands of the protest participants have nearly zero public support.'

'P.S.2. The forest belongs to all of us.'

'P.S.3. We must help so that residents of villages near forests do not live by cutting down trees but thrive through sustainable use of forest resources.'
