They Are Waiting for Police Chief Osipyan in Ijevan
The interstate road in Ijevan remains closed. In an interview with Hetq, protesters have reported that they are waiting for Police Chief Valeriy Osipyan.
They do not yet have clear information about their injured friends, who have been evacuated from the area. Neither the protesters nor the police are providing specific numbers regarding the casualties.
According to reports, hundreds of vehicles are stuck on the road and unable to move. It should be noted that the reason for the roadblock is that wood processors have been prohibited from transporting timber from the forest.
