“The Constitution Was Falsified Ruffianly”: Davit Sanasaryan

The head of the State Audit Office (his powers temporarily suspended) Davit Sanasaryan congratulated the citizens of Armenia on his Facebook page on the occasion of Constitution Day. He specifically wrote:

“Dear citizens of the Republic of Armenia, I congratulate you on the occasion of Constitution Day... The fact that the fundamental law was changed during the rule of an illegal authority, adapted to their anti-state policy, was not accepted through a referendum reflecting the true will of the people but, as per tradition, was falsified ruffianly. This gives grounds to rearrange the regulatory legal act of the state order and through a new referendum to make it truly a source of constitutional order, law, and freedom.”

“Long live a free, independent, law-based, and democratic Armenia; long live the Armenia for which future generations will never regret the blood spilled for its independence and integrity, and whose flag will forever wave. God bless Armenia and its people. I love you all,” he noted.
