Counterfeit Gold and Silver Medals Supplied to the National Assembly

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials have been prepared at the Arabkir community police department, and these have been forwarded to the investigative division of the same department. The website reports that the materials were prepared based on a complaint by 29-year-old Karen Movsisyan, a resident of Yerevan. He informed the Arabkir police that gold commemorative medals had been ordered, and after receiving the order, concerns arose that the medals were not actually made of gold.

During the preparation of materials at the community police department, it was revealed that the company “VG GREGGO” and an individual entrepreneur, “Surik Yeghiazaryan Vladimir,” had supplied gold and silver medals and commemorative medals to the National Assembly of Armenia for a certain period, and those were made of non-precious metals. According to G. Shamshyan's information, K. Movsisyan works in the legal service department of the National Assembly as a chief specialist.
