Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Ford and Opel Collide Head-On

On June 23, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 4:30 PM, a collision took place on Azatamartikner Street involving a Ford vehicle with license plate 36 DX 778 and an Opel Vectra with license plate 10 LS 797.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver of the Opel was taken to the Erebuni Medical Center with bodily injuries.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, preliminary information suggests that the driver of the Ford was at fault for the accident. A bystander at the scene, who identified himself as a relative of the Ford driver, attempted to persuade traffic police and the investigator not to have the vehicle moved to the “GAI plashchadka,” but to no avail.
