The National Assembly Approved the Execution of the 2018 State Budget, BHK Voted Against

The National Assembly of Armenia approved the annual report on the execution of the 2018 state budget with a vote of 94 in favor and 17 against. This decision was made during a session where Gevorg Petrosyan spoke on behalf of the BHK and stated that these concerns had been raised one or two years ago.

According to him, there has been an increase in product prices, emigration has not decreased, employment issues remain alarming, and there has been no visible progress on social issues. Petrosyan emphasized that there are no grounds to vote in favor of the budget's execution under the current circumstances.

Babken Tunyan, a member of the My Step alliance, reminded that BHK and LHK were part of the implementation of this budget, and if they are voting against it, they should also recognize the evaluation of their own work.
