Mayor of Lusaghbyur Has Leg Amputated, Doctors Fighting to Save His Life
Doctors are fighting to save the life of Grigor Sarhatyan, the Mayor of Lusaghbyur in the Tavush region. Shushan Hunanian, the spokesperson for the ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center, shared this information during a conversation with Tert.am.
“Grigor Sarhatyan's leg has been amputated, and he is currently in the intensive care unit. The doctors assess his condition as serious but stable,” Hunanian stated.
Earlier, it was reported that 35-year-old Grigor Sarhatyan was hospitalized at the ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center on June 14 with a gunshot wound to his right thigh, which required surgery.
