Don't Interfere in Armenia's Internal Affairs: Russian Ambassador Summoned to MFA
The head of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, Ruben Rubinyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'Today, after the meeting of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, during which the meeting between the Russian Ambassador and Robert Kocharyan was also discussed, I spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The Minister informed me that the Russian Ambassador was indeed summoned to the MFA last Friday, where a conversation took place regarding the context of not interfering in Armenia's internal affairs. Deputy Minister Grigor Hovhannisyan did not mention this during the committee meeting because he did not have permission to disclose this information at that time.'
It is worth noting that the embassy had stated that the Russian Ambassador met with Kocharyan as part of his regular meetings with representatives of political and business circles.
