Irates: What the Departing Vigen Sargsyan Told Serzh Sargsyan
«Irates» newspaper writes: When former Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan announced that he was leaving for the United States for a year starting in June to pursue further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the media reported that he was upset with the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and decided to leave.
However, the reality is different. Our sources within the RPA informed us that Vigen Sargsyan is not upset at all; in fact, he told Serzh Sargsyan that if active political processes begin and he is needed, he is ready to leave his studies and return.
It is true that he has been advised to calmly continue his education, as it is unlikely that any significant change will occur in the next year that would see the RPA back in a strong position.
