Pressure Applied on Artak Zeynalyan: ‘My Step’ Accuses Him of Sabotage
According to the newspaper ‘Zhamanak’, former Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan, while addressing his resignation request yesterday, stated that he took such a step as a result of ‘assessing the information flows’.
According to our sources, pressure was exerted on Zeynalyan by the ‘My Step’ faction. Members of the faction accused him of sabotage, justifying this accusation by the fact that Zeynalyan’s ministry, despite numerous assurances, failed to prepare and present to the parliament the draft laws on the vetting of judges and transitional justice, or at least their concepts.
