Abovian Residents Say 'No' to Current Authorities: Political Analyst
Political analyst Gagik Hambaryan has observed that the residents of Abovian have said 'no' to the current authorities. He noted, “The negative consequences of Pashinyan’s defeat in these elections will be more serious, which I will address later.”
In the June 9 mayoral elections in Abovian, out of 44,600 eligible voters, 18,175 participated, equating to 40.83% of the electorate. In the early parliamentary elections of 2018, out of 19,947 participating Abovians, 13,312 cast their votes for the 'Civil Contract' party, while 3,719 voted for the 'Prosperous Armenia' party.
