The Date for the Mnatsakanyan-Mamedyarov Meeting Approaches

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, has not clarified the date for his meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov.

“Although we are transparent, we must also take into account the wishes of the other side. That date is approaching,” the minister said in a conversation with journalists.

When asked if a meeting between the leaders of the two countries is expected soon, he replied that there is no agenda for a leaders' meeting.

Commenting on the meeting with representatives of the Azerbaijani community of Karabakh and NGOs by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, the minister noted: “The fact of the meeting is not of primary importance, but it should not be ignored either.”
