Regular Meeting of the Republican Party Led by Serge Sargsyan: Key Discussions

Today, May 23, a regular meeting of the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) was held at the party's headquarters under the leadership of RPA President Serge Sargsyan. This was reported by the RPA office.

The meeting addressed the latest developments in the country's internal politics. The Executive Body reaffirmed the political and legal evaluations provided on May 19 concerning Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's unconstitutional call to blockade the courts.

The party emphasized that all processes occurring in the country, including potential reforms within the judicial system, must be carried out exclusively within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, while adhering to the international obligations undertaken by the country.

In this regard, the Republican Party values the relevant reactions from various political parties, civil organizations, leaders, and international organizations concerning the situation.

The party is determined to continue the political struggle against developments that threaten democracy and constitutionalism in Armenia according to the legislation established by the country, while also utilizing all accessible international platforms and opportunities.

During the meeting, discussions also touched upon the activities of party structures, the progress of the party's modernization program, the operations of the political school, and upcoming international cooperation projects.
