Purge of Dashnak Officials Underway

According to the ‘Past’ newspaper, credible sources indicate that several Dashnak and affiliated officials have come under special scrutiny following a clear directive from the ruling elite.

As reported by informed sources of the newspaper, under the guise of structural reforms, notable dismissals are expected soon, particularly affecting the head of the territorial administration's staff, Massis Baghdasaryan, a former member of the Dashnak Bureau and a long-time member since the early 90s who was a front-line fighter against the HHSh, as well as the chief secretary of the ministry, Aghasi Matilyan, whose father is currently a member of the Dashnak leadership body.

Additionally, the newspaper notes that the authorities already have appropriate replacements lined up for these positions.
