Notable Proposal: Will the Exploitation of the Amulsar Mine be Banned?

The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports: Member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, Varazdat Karapetyan, has proposed an amendment to the law on Lake Sevan, considering Lake Sevan as a reservoir of fresh water for Armenia.

According to this amendment, any activity that has a harmful impact on the ecosystem of Lake Sevan will be prohibited.

It is interesting to note that if this amendment is adopted, will it serve as a basis for banning the exploitation of the Amulsar mine, given that it will directly affect the ecosystem of Lake Sevan?
