Azerbaijan Specifically Mentions Armenia as Target of Military Exercises, Defense Analyst

Karen Hovhannisyan, a military analyst and expert on Kurdish studies, wrote on his Facebook page: "Azerbaijan has been conducting large-scale military exercises for the third consecutive day, which are closely aligned with a wartime scenario.

To make the exercises even more impressive, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense visited the frontline positions to check the readiness of the units and issued commands. He instructed that in the event of a ceasefire violation by Armenia, an asymmetric response should be delivered using all types of weaponry.

Typically, the term 'conditional adversary' is used during exercises, but Azerbaijan specifically mentions the Republic of Armenia as the target of these drills."
