Armenia Appoints New Ambassador to Afghanistan
Armenia has appointed Garnik Badalyan as its ambassador to Afghanistan by a presidential decree.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of Armenia.
Based on the prime minister's recommendation and in accordance with the first part of Article 132, point 2 of the Constitution, Garnik Badalyan, who is the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan, has been appointed as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (with residence in Ashgabat).
