PHOTO: Heavy Hail Levels Farmers' Work to the Ground

Just 2 hours ago, a severe hailstorm in the Berd enlarged community of the Tavush region has devastated the farmers' efforts. After 15 minutes of relentless hail, in villages such as Chinchin, Verin Karmir, Verin Tsaghkavan, Berd, and Choratan, only a few leaves remain on the trees, and the crops have been leveled to the ground.

“All this investment, effort, and hope have turned to zero in just 15 minutes. We spent money, bought seedlings, purchased seeds—who is going to compensate us? No one,” said a resident of the village of Chinchin, which is affected by hail almost every year, in an interview with MAMUL.am.
