Robert Kocharian to be Released Within 10 Minutes, Orbelyan Says

Robert Kocharian will be released within 10 minutes, his lawyer Aram Orbelyan stated today, May 18, during a conversation with journalists outside the courthouse.

"I said that there are optimistic and pessimistic scenarios. In the optimistic case, we assumed that the case would be dismissed altogether, while in the pessimistic case, my personal assessment was that there would be a personal guarantee," he said.

Orbelyan noted that he cannot say whether there is pressure on the court or not.
