Judicial Power Enjoys Complete Freedom: Vladimir Karapetyan
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press secretary Vladimir Karapetyan made a post on his Facebook page regarding the change in the preventive measure for Robert Kocharian.
“Armenia is a rule-of-law state where the three branches of power are clearly separated. The judicial power enjoys complete freedom, and the successive decisions are proof of that.
All statements claiming attempts at pressure by the authorities are mere speculations, unfortunately employed by R. Kocharian's defense team.
The authorities are determined to ensure the solely legal conduct of all procedures.
However, it is another matter that after the democratic changes that took place, the old judicial system operates in Armenia, and the level of public trust in its decisions has not changed,” wrote Karapetyan.
