Mutual Complaints and Accusations During Meeting Between Pashinyan and US Ambassador

Government sources report that the meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the new US Ambassador Lin Tracy did not go smoothly. The recent two anti-American statements made by the Prime Minister and the ongoing complaints about the lack of financial support have annoyed the Americans.

In turn, Pashinyan has insisted that more assistance could have been provided. In an effort to mend the situation, the government has decided to send various officials at different levels to Washington. Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is reluctant to announce this in advance, it appears that Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will soon head to the US, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Defense and other officials from the economic bloc.

Additionally, the entire state apparatus is engaged in preparing for the visit of Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan to the US, attempting to arrange meetings with the US National Security Advisor, as well as the heads of the FBI and CIA.
