Wallet of Foreign Citizen Stolen in Downtown
On May 8, at 12:50 PM, the Central Police Department received a report from a foreign citizen stating that at 11:40 AM, at the intersection of Sayat Nova Avenue and Nalbandyan Street, his wallet had been stolen from his bag, which contained money, documents, and a bank card.
The police reported that on May 9, at 8:00 PM, law enforcement officers from the Yerevan city department, acting on received operational data, apprehended 1982-born Artak Kh. on Abovyan Street on suspicion of theft, who provided a confession.
Measures are being taken to locate the stolen items.
An investigation is underway.
