The Anthem Is Not Played Before Bedtime - Tigran Hakobyan
In Armenian legislation, there is a requirement prohibiting the interruption of information programs by advertisements, a demand that is deemed inappropriate and incorrect, stated Tigran Hakobyan, the head of the Regulatory Commission for Television and Radio.
He also addressed another legislative provision in need of change, which pertains to playing the Armenian anthem at midnight. According to Hakobyan, this practice creates more aversion among viewers.
He emphasized that there are such illogical and outdated regulations that need to be amended.
