Commemoration Plaques for Hambardzum Sayadyan, Parch Zeytuntsyan, Karapet Melik-Ohanjanyan, and Hrachya Tamrazyan to be Installed in Yerevan
In Yerevan, plans are underway to install commemoration plaques honoring prominent figures of the Armenian SSR and the Soviet era, including Hambardzum Sayadyan, an esteemed figure in science and technology, Parch Zeytuntsyan, a distinguished cultural figure, writer, and playwright, Karapet Melik-Ohanjanyan, an academician, and Hrachya Tamrazyan, a doctor of philological sciences, poet, and translator.
As reported by Armenpress, the draft decisions related to these plaques are included in the agenda for the April 23 meeting of the Yerevan City Council. The proposals were presented by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan.
The plaque commemorating Hambardzum Sayadyan is set to be installed at 31 Moscow Street, Parch Zeytuntsyan's plaque at 3 Kasyan Street, Karapet Melik-Ohanjanyan's at 5 Kievyan Street, and Hrachya Tamrazyan's at 59 Teryan Street.
