Donald Trump to Recognize Golan Heights as Part of Israel Tomorrow, Says Israeli Foreign Ministry
U.S. President Donald Trump is set to sign a document recognizing the Golan Heights as Israeli territory tomorrow. According to the TASS news agency, this was announced by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz.
“Tomorrow, President Trump will sign a decree recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” he stated.
It is worth noting that just days ago, Trump declared that the time had come for the U.S. to recognize the Golan Heights as Israeli territory, which he believes holds strategic importance for Israel’s security.
