Ararat Mirzoyan Discusses Visa Liberalization in Germany

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, is leading a delegation that is on an official visit to Germany from March 18 to 21. On the morning of March 20, they met with Volker Perthes, the Director of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), along with experts representing the Eastern Europe and Eurasia research group.

This research center is an independent research institute in Germany that provides consulting to the Bundestag and the federal government on foreign and security policy issues.

During the meeting, the Speaker presented the political changes that have occurred in Armenia, the developments recorded following the snap parliamentary elections, and the priorities that are emerging.

The members of the parliamentary delegation and the experts discussed issues related to Armenia’s foreign policy, economic reforms, regional security, and the topic of visa liberalization.
